Taimor Ends Visit to Safir International

Chief Executive Officer of Real Estate Services Group, one of the owners of Safir International Doha, Qatar Ali Sayed Taimor concluded a visit to Kuwait where he conducted a series of talks with senior officials from the Safir International steered toward better co-operation between the two sides.

During his visit, Taimor met with the Chairman of Safir International Sheikh Fadel Khaled Al-Sabah and discussed with him the company's future and expansion plans of the Safir International and means to achieve these goals.

Vice Chairman & General Manager of Kuwait Hotels Company (KHC) Fawzi Al-Musallam, Nabil Hammoud, Group Director of operations, Group Director of development Cyril Fattal and Group Chief Financial Officer Amr Sultan also participated in the meetings to discuss measures to strengthen co-operation between the two sides and opportunities available in other projects in addition to discussing recent construction development of the Al-Doha Safir Hotel.

In February 2007, Real Estate Services Group reached an agreement with Kuwait Hotels Company (KHC) authorizing the company to run and operate Al-Doha Safir Hotel. According to Safir International officials, the agreement is considered a major success in the company's marketing strategic plans, which is a pioneer company in that field.

Taimor also visited a number of hotels run by the Kuwait Hotels Company and Cake n Bake facilities, which is run by the company where he met with senior officials from KAMCO and Kuwait Real Estate Companies.

The construction of Safir Al-Doha located near Doha International Airport, consisting of 12 floors, 140 luxurious rooms with various state-of-the-art facilities and a number of ballrooms and conference halls is expected to conclude by June 2008.
